They tried it here in the States. Something like Coca~Cola: BLACKED.
It wasn't bad, just not something I ever craved. It failed pretty quick.

Controversial Edit2: It used real sugar in Mexico and Canada recipes but corn syrup (of course) in the States. Ugh.
My old roommate used to brew his coffee with Coca Cola instead of water. Smelled like death and he would only get 3 months out of coffee makers before the pump would give out.
