I think I was fired for my religious beliefs. Can I do anything about it?

I live in a very Christian part of the south (NC) and I had been working in a large grocery store for about 6 months.

I practice Satanism and I try to keep it low key (I don’t try to hide the fact that I practice Satanism but I don’t go around yelling it from the rooftops, if you know what I mean).

I was fired recently due to “not properly representing the company”

I was pretty surprised about this because I had never been in trouble at work before and now I was fired.

I was just wondering if I can do anything, legally about the situation. I literally know nothing about the law, but I would think that if I practiced another religion (Judaism, Hinduism, etc...) I could be able to do something (legally) about it, I just don’t know if Satanism is as protected as other religions.

So there's just straight up a subreddit dedicated to how awesome it is to do heroin? Is there a word for something being a BAD kind of support group?

If - big if, but if - LAOP is being honest about being off heroin, then my hat's off to them for it. It's a very hard addiction to quit. There are some studies that suggest that good quality of life - a job, a stable home, and so on - are correlated with addicts getting clean, but nothing conclusive, and even then, IV opiates grip hard.

This thread is one of the ones that reminds me I'm living in a completely different world from some other people.
