Ugh some Asian parents don’t consider mental health a real thing (like mine) this kinda shit would is considered forward thinking compared to the ones I’ve met hope this person is ok

Edit: as a lot of you pointed other parents fit this category too,, not just Asian,, guess insanity doesn’t discriminate lol

Also,, I realize this sorry if I offended anyone,, just said Asian coz of title

Just an fyi for OP. There are seriously a.ton of us in Reddit that like to help folks who need help. Next time you need that extra 100 please try the charity subreddit or ask somewhere on here because alot of us have been in your shoes. Therapy IS just as important as food. If you get to unhealthy in your mental balance it could cause you to do regrettable things. I was raised in an abusive home. I went to therapy off and on for about 5 years and then later went back to therapy. I haven't been to therapy in a long time and my life has been so much better. I know without therapy I would never have gotten to this place in my head. I am also a mom of 2 amazing sons and if either of them ever needed therapy I would eat ramen every single day to help them pay for it. That is how important I really think it is. I hope you continue your sessions and wish you the best.
