One time, I had a janitor woman check in one me every single school day during lunch. I obviously didn't appreciate it as a child because I wasn't used to people paying attention to me like that, so id get really shy. I regret that now as an adult...
Also, the lunch women would have left over foods and give the extras to kids who wanted seconds and encouraged everyone to share
Me and the boys were once playing smash at lunch and the janitor deadass took his switch out and asked to join the room. Nicest guy ever, he kicked our asses tho.
I had to have surgery on one of my feet in high school and I was on crutches for a couple of months. One of the lunch ladies would grab a tray for me and walk through the line with me while I picked out my food and all the way over to my seat so I didn’t have to struggle to carry it because I didn’t have any friends to help me.
