My 20 year old son's friend group he went all through high school with is like this, all different backgrounds and religions, catholics, anglican and muslim (he's the atheist). One of his friends came out when he was 15 and they all supported him which I thought was wild as when I was in high school in the 90s NO ONE came out as gay and me being a dumbass thought huh must not be any gay people in my whole class of 105 people, then off course two years after high school about 18 people had come out.
The media talks a lot of shit about millenials being the 'me generation' but I see a generation with more empathy, who are more socially conscious and aware of world issues and more politically active. Far more so than my mopey generation.
