I hate this shit. I took an art class in one of my first college semesters. They said "If you do the requirements for any assignment, you get a C.You have to do double to get an A." I was thinking to myself then why not just double the requirements and set that as the assignment? Bitches.
We had to give a presentation in my Statistics class on any article that uses statistics. The presentation was worth 50 points and on the rubric there was a section called the "Wow Factor" that was worth 5 points. It was basically how much above and beyond did you go for this presentation. The girl who sat next to me did her presentation on how some police are using statistics and algorithms to fight crime. She did a fine presentation, but she got a 0/5 on the Wow Factor. The professor wrote down "you should have dressed up like a cop" on the rubric and it dropped her grade 10%
