Poor parenting is poor. Your child went out and taught themselves this, all on their own, and came to share their joy and excitement with you. That is not how you should respond at all, and I honestly hope their parents learned this at some point.

Life begins the moment you turn your back away from your parents and seek your own truth. For some, the parents walk away but if they believe in your journey they will watch your back.
