Sid Haig, the man best-known as as the murderous clown in Rob Zombie’s movies (The Devil’s Rejects, House Of 1000 Corpses etc), has passed away aged 80.
The actor died on Saturday, September 21, according to an Instagram post by his wife Suzie.
“On Saturday, September 21, 2019, my light, my heart, my true love, my King, the other half of my soul, Sidney, passed from this realm on to the next,” reads the statement.
“He has returned to the Universe, a shining star in her heavens. He was my angel, my husband, my best friend and always will be. He adored his family, his friends and his fans. This came as a shock to all of us.
“We, as a family, are asking that our privacy and time to mourn be respected.
“Goodnight, my love. We will find each other again, next time. I love you.”
Sid’s final Rob Zombie movie 3 From Hell recently premiered in select cinemas, but the box office takings were so high they have extended the run by a further day.

From what I recall, Rob Zombie had to rewrite Three From Hell three or more times as he learned more and more about Sid‘s health deterioration but damn, I didn’t expect this to happen so soon.

I can't believe he was 80. Or that tootie fucking fruity movie came out a lot longer ago (how do you say this in English, that doesn't sound right) than I want to realise.
