My sister did this, I leant her some money, she said she will pay me back the following thursday, didn't get the money that day, didn't even mention it to her until a week after the thursday asking for it back, she said I will soon, I didn't say anything but about 30 seconds later she suddenly turned and said me don't buy stuff you don't need if you're skint... excuse me? I'm not skint I'm asking for the leant money back, you're the one asking for money not me, take your own advise!!!! she then said that she spent her money better than me, in other words she was saying she deserved my money because she thinks she puts it to better use(which she doesn't, wouldn't call going the pub and spending it on drinks better use). some people are just so stupid.
My mate lent his older sister a few thousand once. I think she expected to keep it but the next week he emailed her a link to an excel document he put on his Google drive which was a repayment plan showing how much she had to pay each month and when it would be repaid which he would update each month she made a payment. 🤣 think she forgot he worked in debt recoveries for the bank we both worked at.
