Riot Games, and more specifically, League of Legends will be celebrating their ten year anniversary on October 15th. In concordance with their tenth anniversary Riot will have livestreams and different events on their channel starting at 6:00 pm PST. The first event/stream will be a 10th Anniversary Edition of Riot Plz. During this, they will “take a look back at their favorite League moments and share a glimpse of the future, including a first look at this year’s preseason changes and TFT’s next big content update.”

In the announcement distributed, Riot also makes note that they are currently seeing about eight million peak concurrent players on the client. Making this the largest PC game in the world. They also note that if people miss the stream that they will rebroadcast is throughout the following day.

The last major part of the announcement is that Riot has updated the League of Legends Logo stating, “We think this is the perfect time to set the stage for the next ten years by modernizing the official League of Legends logo.” This will be the first time they have changed the main logo in a long time but not the first time that they have made some changes to the branding overall.
