They're upgrading to 5G in parts of our town as well, and there's a lady constantly posting "warnings" about it on local FB pages, our kids are going to get autism and everyone will get cancer and blah blah. ...we're like "OK great, but this a page for Local Dining Recommendations."
I feel ya buddy, I live in very rural UK where BT refuses to give us fibre and there’s no phone signal. We were going to have a mast that no one would see and it would also be disguised as a tree, but the local old people (which is basically 90% of my village) said no and complain that their phones don’t work and their family doesn’t call...fucking morons. They opposed it without even knowing where it was or what it was...
The cell companies are actually well aware of this, there's always at least a few of these at every new construction. What they'll do is build it all and wait for the complaints to come in.
People will complain about headaches, nausea, rashes, you name it. Then the company announces that they haven't turned it on yet. The complaints disappear real quick. It's just part of the process of construction nowadays.
