I don't drink soda, but I occasionally get southern-style sweet tea when I order unsweet tea. Usually I just tell the server so they can fix it and assume it was an honest mistake, but on two different occasions the server said something like, "you can afford it."
I don't have blood sugar issues; I just don't like sugary drinks. But it's like a personal affront to some people if you choose the less sugary/caloric/unhealthy option.
Yup, I’ve been given real milk when I asked for soy... never ends well. I honestly hate ordering stuff that way because of people like this, I’ll actually order something that doesn’t need modification to avoid this possibility sometimes.
