Similar experience. Went to see a rental house and at the last minute the landlord told us the tenants would show it and he wouldn’t be there. Not a great impression but whatever. We get there and the tenants are literally in the process of moving that day and all the hell it involves for anyone. They immediately fill us in on what a terrible landlord he is. He had a auto shop on the property and parked cars all over when he felt like it. Never fixed anything and the house had mold that was making their son sick. They had proof and he still refused to do anything about it.
Still thankful to those GG tenants that took the time to fill us in while in the middle of their move. Hope they moved on to a much better situation.
