My girlfriend and I got lost driving in Ireland and ended up at some older woman’s farm house thinking her long driveway was a road. She was pulling out as I was turning around and rolled her window down to ask us if we were lost. When she heard that we were American she said, “Would you like to see some kids?” I’m sure we had a perplexed look on our faces because she quickly clarified, “Baby goats!” We spent the next hour or so meeting all her animals and taking pictures with the baby goats. Best detour ever.
