The Taliban is a (militant) political party within Afghanistan. They aren't like Al Queda in this regard. I assume they were invited to help broker peace in Afghanistan.
You don't end wars by slamming the door on your enemies - you do it at a negotiating table.
Gues everyone forgot the time this happened In multiple administrations over the last 30+ years. If America has one major problem it’s a constant state of Amnesia. The “Taliban” are our allies or enemies depending on when and how it benefits American businesses.
