I'm actually pretty impressed that so much of Europe is near 1x, hell even 2x is lower than I expected... being able to provide a high standard of living with low carbon emissions gives me hope.

why exactly does saudi arabia produce so much co2? are they really producing/consuming that much? or is it all the oil that they're extracting that's getting exported everywhere ?
