When I was younger my parents accused me of diluting their vodka when in fact i had my own in my room so I didn’t need theirs, I fought them on it so hard I had to google if vodka could freeze at a certain temperature and the percentage was low enough it could freeze at -26 I think and our freezer was -28.7.
They left it in the freezer so long it actually partially froze and they still didn’t believe me anyways.
My parents were much more of beer/wine drinkers so this never was an issue with me, but my cousin diluted some of his dad's alcohol when he was in high school. My uncle's words to him were "I don't care if you steal my booze, but please don't water it down because that just ruins it for everyone else."

Back in high school a friend of mine had some of his parents' baileys and replaced what he had drank with milk, failing to remember that milk goes off
