I imagine it was even more fun for the guys - sharing something they're interested in and being able to do so voluntarily.

This how skaters are made and build friendships. Friendships are why skaters roll in packs. Skater kids always had shitty reputations because adults found them to be difficult and trolly. The skaters I rolled with are now adults and the stigma is lifting thru pictures like these. Dont be surprised that skaters help skaters thats how we learned most of our tricks, is from each other. No parents, no masters.
