I’m sorry your mom is being a ding bat, my mom pulled similar stuff including but not limited to trying to use the fact that my girlfriends parents were really conservative as leverage to get more money out of the divorce settlement. -tell your dad to give me more money or I’ll out her.
In my experience the best move was to GTFO, I got a 6 month break from her BS, and then she kept trying to marsh my mellow.
2 things became clear:
1 -she was looking for an excuse to split with my dad and was looking for a scape goat or someone to blame.( which she still does) 2- once she realized that I didn’t give a single dingus about her being in my life she made attempts to regain control but the ship had sailed, its a control thing!.
I am sure this is not the first time she has done low stuff like this to emotionally abuse you into doing what she wants.
