Rising Storm 2: Vietnam has a similar problem. Beyond like 300 or 400 meters or something the grass just dissappears, which ironically makes it easier to shoot people from ridiculously far away than at normal sniping range.
Back in Halo PC on windows XP my graphics card couldn't handle the stealth powerup, so anyone that had it active looked like a discoball. Lost that advantage when I finally built a better rig.
