The Dropkick Murphys have proven their worth as one of the nicest bands out there, performing a private show for a three-year-old cancer patient recently.

If you’ve found yourself paying attention to thew news out of Boston recently, then you might have heard of three-year-old Quinn Waters, who has been making headlines all throughout the state of Massachusetts.

Having recently had surgery to remove a brain tumour, chemotherapy, and even a stem cell transplant, Quinn has been confined to his home while his immune system recovers.

To help make his days a little brighter though, he’s been receiving quite a few visits from supporters who stop by his window.

“Stuff like that gets him through the day because he’s literally stuck in the house, for a three old it’s tough,” father Jarlath Waters told CBS Boston, with mother Tara noted, “We’ve gotten offers people coming by dressed as superheroes, a drama club wants to come by and do a performance on the lawn.”

Now, the latest visitors to “The Mighty Quinn” have been none other than Boston icons the Dropkick Murphys.

Because that’s what heroes do.

I fucking love Dropkick they are my favorite band and while most of the world doesn’t notice them they still are constantly staying fresh and are always charitable and giving to the fans.

Fuck I love the Dropkick Murphys. I saw them in Buffalo when I was in high school and had the opportunity to crowd surf. What an awesome group!
