Anyone else think it's a distraction? Misdirection?
Jay doesn't field teams or own NFL teams. Even if he did make moves that went against the interest of Kap's movement/stance/protest, the media found their scapegoat ornposter boy, depending on how you see it, and can just refer to "Jay Z is black and even he was against Kaep."
It's their get out of jail free card whenever someone makes a case about the actions of the NFL with Kaep.
Edit: To clarify, I meant the outrage being the distraction, not the NFL hiring Jay. All this outrage and people throwing Jay under the bus as soon as the news broke just seems so odd. It's another layer of things for people to fight about, the first being fixing the issues Kaep was protesting, then the outrage to his actions, then the outrage to the perceived slight from Jay by getting involved with the NFL.
