Online dating is a fucking nightmare. I want to put my best foot forward but when you can't tell if the account you're messaging is; really who they say they are, a catfish, a dead account, or a multi-account professional hired by the dating site to make an entirely dead site seem live, every message, long or short, feels like I'm spitting into a desert.
Fun fact about middle easterns, back in the day, the highest status thing a man could be was either a poet or a warrior, with the very most important men being both, which is why there’s a ton of Arab poetry and it’s most of what they teach in the curriculum.
