Selling a camera for $600. The guy says he can only pay in cash and turns up with $370 and expects it’ll be fine. I didn’t even get out of my car. Just drove away.

It’s hard to imagine how anyone thinks that by paying C A S H that it automatically allows them to pay less for an item. No dumbass my $16,000 car is being sold for $16,000 not $5,000 cash. I expect cash no matter what

Oh man, this grinds my gears. I was selling a laptop for $500 and the buyer and his brother showed up with $400 and a sob story about their sister needing it more than me. I slowly packed it up while they begged and begged and just as I grabbed the door handle to leave one said "Fine! Wait, I have it!" and handed me the full $500. People suck.

I've seen this tactic before. They figure if you drove all the way to wherever, you'll accept less just to get the cash they do have. Many people just go along with it due to the hassle.

Clearly this guy has had it work out in the past. He just finally met someone with a back bone. Good on you for not taking his crap.
