The fact that they're choosing to associate the detention of a celebrity that presented a flight risk with "hostage affairs" is just so stupid. Doesn't help that this guy's signature looks like he's only halfway through learning the alphabet.

He was released because the trial concluded pending sentencing which is unlikely to include any prison time, not because of Trump's online and IRL shitposting. That would have been government overreach, a scandal of proportions which could end the current Swedish government, because unlike America, political scandals actually have consequences in Sweden.
