I was Velma at GalaxyCon, and so many amazing people played along as I "unmasked" their characters. "And I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling kids!!"

To clarify, I approached people with neat masks and gave my elevator pitch for this photo series, asked for specific permission to touch their masks, and asked for them to pose for photos!

Everyone was so sweet and seemingly excited for the photos! We exchanged social medias and I even saw some of them repost the pics! All in good fun and consensual! (Nobody go around grabbing masks in my name, plz)

Edit: Wow! Thanks for the love, guys! This was my first con ever, and I had a blast. I was attending as a vendor so I didn't get to take photos with everyone, but I'm so grateful for these that played along! I know my cosplay could have been better (thanks reddit for pointing that out) but it was thrifted, I was a vendor not an attendee, and I didn't intend to blow up on reddit.

Also, the reason not all masks are lifted is because I didn't get explicit permission to remove them. Most people wanna keep the outfit together as one whole, so I was being as respectful as possible.
