Bildt said in a pair of tweets that in Sweden, as in the U.S., the rule of law applies to everyone, adding, "Political interference in the process is distinctly off limits! Clear?"
He wrote that if Trump "tries to obstruct justice in his own country he will be in deep trouble with the very principles of the US constitution."

Trump previously tweeted that he was "very disappointed" in Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven after Löfven said he would not interfere with the Rocky case.
The rapper was charged Thursday with committing assault causing actual bodily harm following an altercation in Stockholm last month.
"Sweden has let our African American Community down in the United States," Trump tweeted. "I watched the tapes of A$AP Rocky, and he was being followed and harassed by troublemakers. Treat Americans fairly! #FreeRocky"
"Give A$AP Rocky his FREEDOM," he added in another tweet.
