Taka is currently in training to become a therapy dog for burn units. His life experiences make him uniquely qualified to show that there's light at the end of the tunnel for burn victims.
As you can see Taka was badly burned in a house fire, but today he's as happy as can be and looking forward to helping people cope with their own tragedies.
At nine years old Taka has flown through his early training, even being called "brilliant" by his trainer. They want Taka to show children and other burn victims that there's hope, and that they too can come out of their situation happy and healthy.
