My dad would never do this. Too quiet and stoic. Never shows his emotions.
One time I was home for the summer for college and he had to borrow my truck for something.
He filled up the tank, kept the receipt, and wrote “Love ya, Dad” on it, and pinned it to the sun visor.
I cried like a baby for 30 minutes when I noticed it hanging there when I was on the interstate.
