More likely it was buried at the beach and has just been unearthed. This explains the vivid advertising and why the plastic hasn't broken down in the sun.

This might better illustrate how poorly landfills are as a garbage solution. Recycling pretty much sucks and is often a farce, and putting junk into the ground isnt a possibility, we sure as shit can't burn it. Need a new permanent solution.

No. That piece of plastic hasn't degraded but not because it was thrown into the sea where it would have broken down into smaller particles by now; salt and sunlight are brutal. That's from a landfill or was uncovered after being buried near the beach. Just a testament to how resilient a material it is and how we use it wastefully.

There’s no way the printing on it survived that well for that long exposed to the elements.
