In Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade young Indi gets trapped with a lion and uses a whip which cuts his chin. Later in the film present day Indi has a scar. Thought this was a pretty cool little detail.
In another movie, I think Working Girl, they have a scene where he talks about the scar and says something about trying to pierce his ear and he passed out and hit his chin.

And if you pay really close attention, they subtly hint that Indiana was actually the dog’s name first
