Or, as trump seems to think, when you criticize the "president", you're criticizing America. Well...

β€œTo announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

― Theodore Roosevelt

People who support racism deliberately obfuscate the message because they know their argument has no merit.

Colin Kaepernick on why he was kneeling - "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder"

Billy Joe Bob in his barcalounger- "HE DON'T SUPPORT THE TROOPS!"

Even if this man used the n word his base would say it was just an old word that shows his age. They would all harken back to fond memories of grandparents or even parents using that word. They will tell us it can be used with affection. They will rant and rave about how black people say it too. The only racism they will acknowledge is racism against themselves which they will conveniently find in all corners of society. They really move the goal posts with reckless abandon. We have to beat them mercilessly at the ballot box and then deal with their claims of fake news and fake ballots. It is inevitable. We should not expect peaceful transition of power even if we can win the presidency.
