I followed one of you guys advice and stared at an enderman so he would stand still. But after a while of standing still he became passive and just started to follow me everywhere, so we kept him as a pet.
See I think this is a bug with the AI because you somehow managed to get him out of an “aggressive” state he won’t attack but his path finding is still active as if he was trying to attack you. At least that’s what I think

Whenever I stare at them, I get attacked. Any way to avoid the attack after looking at the enderman?
