Believe it or not, Daddy Long Legs are not part of the spider family. While they are arachnids, they're a part of the Harvestmen family.
Edit: For clarification, "Daddy Long Legs" is a VERY broad term, but all Daddy Long Legs are harvestmen! A spider is a spider, not a harvestmen. You can call a spider whatever you want, but it's not a harvestmen, or a true Daddy Long Legs!
