I worked at a grocery store in high school and there was this one kid who worked like a crazy amount of hours. I later learned that every dime he made was going towards his mom’s hospital bills. I’ve never had more respect for someone in my life, to work that much and get no personal reward.

I sold my car to help cover my grandmas medical care.
Now I get shit all the time from people “how are you 30 and not have a vehicle?”
Some people just won’t ever understand
