I encourage everyone, whether you're Canadian or not, to research Canadian residential schools. Horrific events that happened well into the 60s/70s and is still having a huge generational effect on the aboriginal population.
Native Canadian here. We were put in residential schools. These detention centers are the new residential schools. Honestly, its probably worse. I can't imagine what those kids and babies are going through. Breaks my heart to see this happening...again.

Not to mention slaves... I’m pretty sure they tried to stay in their own country and that didn’t work out so great for them.
