My daughter was allergic to milk as a baby - very very stressful time before we figured out what was wrong. So she wasn’t allowed milk for awhile - right up until we went to visit my husbands family. She gave my daughter milk, KNOWING she had an allergy, because she just thought she knew better.
Thank god there were no consequences, but I was absolutely livid for a long time.
