Merida absolutely needs to be Scottish. Honestly, all these people concerned about Ariel should've been heated when a British woman was cast as Belle instead of a French woman but it was oddly quiet on the twitter front about that bit of inaccuracy.

I would think changing Tiana or Snow White's race would also be problematic to the story.
