Van de Donk is CARRYING the team on her shoulders. I’ve never seen someone lay their body on the line time and time again like her. She sprints to EVERY ball, plays as an attacking and defending midfielder, box to box pressure, tactically genius, and knows how to tackle and use her body to maximize her small size. If she doesn’t get a player of the year nomination, I would be pretty disappointed. She definitely deserves it. She is truly an amazing player to watch. <3
