She showed up at our lot. I picked her up and she immediately settled here and wouldn’t move. I guess that was her way of saying she chose me.. I’m now a cat person apparently. I named her scarlet.
My bf found a black kitten this same size hiding under our deck two nights ago. He enjoys coming home, having a couple beers, and listening to music out back after work so needless to say, he has been hanging out with her, trying desperately not to get attached (we already have three cats of our own). Last night at work, I got a text from him saying "this thing is literally sitting on my fucking shoulder" followed soon after by "I have named her Shady Jane Dustball" and a warning to stay off the deck if I didn't want to fall in love.
