Genuine question, but do kids even know their sexual orientation at that age? I know I was a late bloomer, but I didn’t start to discover the opposite sex until middle school.

Edit 2: I get it. Orientation and gender aren’t the same. Lots of people have answered with the same few answers. Much appreciated.
If you're so worried about labels you shouldn't call your child "non-binary"....Or a child...or yours...or anything. You literally cannot refer to the offspring of your loins by any term, without falling prey to boxing it into your projected sense of identity. No one has names anymore, corporations have fallen, I must find food. Good luck
