I remember listening to an interview with Tony Hawk on satellite radio where he was talking about his hair. He said that he just started making it "big" and being slightly noticeable and his roommate told him that he needed a real haircut, he needed to go to a real stylist and get something that made him look the part.
He finally gave in and went to see the guy, the stylist charged him $75 and gave him a mullet. Tony Hawk hated it but figured he needed time to adjust, so he watched TV and every 20 minutes walked to a mirror to look at his hair again until another roommate came home and said "Dude... you have a mullet". So he called up the stylist and asked for his money back, and the guy refused, Tony said that he was going to show up first thing in the morning with a sign that said "This guy charged me $75 and gave me this haircut", the stylist told him to do it.
He showed up in the morning and was like "Hey man, it's me... with the mullet, I've got my sign". The dude shaved his head for him and gave him his $75 back.
