For Christmas as a kid, my dad got me a 1940s style push mower for 1/3 of an acre of land. Huge front yard and huge backyard. No gas power, no nothing. I mowed about 6 feet of the yard looked at him and said “seriously?”
I don’t think Ive ever seen him laugh as hard as he was that day.
Right after the photo was taken he put his drink down and rushed over because kids are shit at mowing. My dad basically had to hold my hand when I started! I'm happy for you!

I remember mowing the lawn. When I first started I wasn't strong enough to start the mower, so my dad or mom would.
I also remember about 2 weeks after I left for college they bought a riding lawn mower.
