TheDailyMail reporter Baz Bamigboye has revealed on his Twitter account three more casting additions to the Netflix movie The Old Guard, which is an adaptation of the Greg Rucka comic book published by Images Comics.

A small group of soldiers, led by a woman named Andy, who are inexplicably immortal and have been working as mercenaries through the ages. The novelty of not dying long gone, the group gets a jolt in their bones when they discover the existence of a new immortal, a black woman serving in the Marines, at the same time as a nefarious organization captures their undying actions on camera.

The newbies include Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave, Doctor Strange, Children of Men), Henry Melling (Harry Potter franchise, The Ballad of Buster Scruggs), and Veronica Ngo (Star Wars: The Last Jedi).

They’ll be joining Charlize Theron (Atomic Blonde, Mad Max: Fury Road), KiKi Layne (If Beale Street Could Talk), Matthias Schoenaerts (Red Sparrow, Rust and Bone), Marwan Kenzari (Aladdin), and Luca Marinelli.

Filming will primarily take place at Shepperton Studios with other locations expected to include France and Morocco.

Netflix has yet to give The Old Guard an official release date.

It's like the opening montage of Wolverine Origins, but an entire group of people. This sounds great!
