The sad part is that even though those rural rednecks will get affected by climate change too, the corporate overlords who have a financial interest in denying climate change, have convinced redneck America that climate change is a liberal culture war, and that they need to deny it to “own the libs”.
That, and conservatives and “the poorly educated” don’t believe in science.

I really hope the farmers come around. I think they are probably starting to. You can't live off the land and not notice things are changing
