I wore my wife’s graduation robes home after she got her masters (I took her out then she went out with friends so I carried her stuff home) and boy were people friendly to me on the subway, smiling and congratulating me. It’s become one of my favorite annual traditions. Maybe it’s her’s too. Edit: “maybe it’s hers too” referred to the girl in the picture.
