The allied bombing of Caen lasted from June to August and unfortunately was a failure, because today the urbs has been rebuilt and is happily occupied by French citizens.
Not sure if Britain’s winking to be cheeky or because his head’s about to explode because he can’t fathom France not being the enemy. Works either way though.
