My new coworker is French and I AM loving helping her with her English. She was telling a story today and kept pointing to her head and saying crane. It finally clicked! Cranium.
Yeah I live in a foreign country and english has been my main method of communication for the better part of a decade, I feel really comfortable with it and have no issues with talking to people.
That is, until I’m speaking to a native English speaker, then I get self-conscious that I may be speaking too slow or that my accent isn’t on point
