When I was a cop I ran into several situations that a "I am Diabetic" one would have helped a lot. One was a call about a car stopped in the middle of the intersection. I pulled up, the lady was just staring straight ahead with her hands on the wheel. I knocked on the window and she just looked at me and started laughing hysterically. Her door was unlocked so I opened it and was trying to talk to her but she was just laughing her ass off. Her breath smelled like alcohol. I pulled her out of the car, patted her down, handcuffed her, and sat her in my car. When I went back up to the car I noticed an insulin kit in the passenger's seat and called the paramedics immediately. Insulin shock can look a lot like drunk.
