The books are better untill you finish them and are left with that gaping void of wanting to see such a rich world come to a satisfying conclusion and realizing that, at best, the series will wrap up in the next 30 years.

I only started the books after S3 and I'm still terribly anxious I'll never see A Dream of Spring.

Except it was the ending that dissapointed, and the books haven't gotten there yet.

The Game of Thrones board game is also really good. My friends and I play it almost every week.
